Why Potluck

The name Potluck comes from the app's core mechanic. At a potluck dinner, everyone brings a dish to share, and you leave having tasted what other people made, not the thing you brought yourself. Potluck the app works the same way: everyone contributes their photos to a shared album, and when it's time to take the memories home, you collect what the others captured rather than re-downloading your own shots. The name says in one word what the app actually does: contribute together, take home what isn't yours.
