Everyone brings a few photos. Take home the whole table.

Potluck is a shared album where everyone adds their photos — and when it's time to take the memories home, you collect the shots the others brought, not the ones you took yourself.

Group photos are a mess.

Everyone takes photos. Then nobody ends up with all of them. Sound familiar?

  • Duplicates everywhere

AirDrop, WhatsApp, group chats — the same shot lands in your camera roll five times, buried among photos you never wanted.

  • iPhone vs Android

AirDrop stops at the first Android phone. Group chats crush the quality. Sharing across platforms is a chore nobody finishes.

  • The best shots vanish

That photo someone else took of you? Lost in a 300-message thread — or never sent at all.

How it works

  1. Create & share

Start an album for the trip, the wedding, the dinner — and send everyone the link.

  2. Everyone adds

Each person drops in the photos they took. The whole night, from every angle.

  3. Take home the rest

When you collect the album, you get the shots the OTHERS captured — not your own.

  • Private by design
  • Auto-deletes in 30 days
  • No ads

No app store. It lives on your phone.

Potluck installs straight to your home screen — tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It opens full-screen like a native app, with nothing to download. And because it's on the web, everyone's on the same album whether they're on iPhone, Android, or a laptop.

  • Add to Home Screen in two taps
  • Opens full-screen, like a native app
  • Same album on iPhone, Android & the web

Albums clean up after themselves.

Every album auto-deletes 30 days after the last upload. The memories are yours to keep once you've taken them home — nothing lingers on our servers forever.

Questions, answered

  • What is Potluck?

Potluck is a shared photo album for a group event — a trip, a wedding, a dinner. Everyone adds the photos they took, and when you collect the album you take home the shots the others captured, not the ones you took yourself.

  • How does Potluck work?

Create an album, share the link with your people, and everyone adds their photos to the same album. When the event is over, each person collects the album and takes home the photos that everyone else brought — so you all end up with the whole night, from every angle.

  • What does “take home what isn’t yours” mean?

When you export an album, Potluck gives you the photos contributed by other members rather than re-downloading your own. You already have your shots; Potluck fills in everyone else’s, so the memories you take home are the ones you would otherwise have missed.

  • What happens after 30 days?

Each album and its photos are automatically deleted 30 days after the last upload. Albums are meant to be ephemeral: collect what you want to keep before then, and nothing lingers on our servers indefinitely. This is both a product feature and our data-retention policy.

  • Who can see my photos?

Only the members of an album can see its photos. Photos live in private storage buckets, and full-resolution originals are served through short-lived signed URLs that expire — so images are never publicly browsable or guessable. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

  • Is Potluck free?

Yes. Potluck is free to use — create albums, invite your people, and take home your memories at no cost.

  • Do I need an account or a password?

You need an account, but there’s no password to remember. We email you a one-time sign-in code; enter it and you’re in. All we need is your email address.

  • Can I install Potluck on my phone?

Yes. Potluck is a Progressive Web App (PWA). On iPhone, tap Share then “Add to Home Screen”; on Android, choose “Install app” from your browser menu. It then opens full-screen like a native app, with no app store required.

  • Do iPhone (HEIC) photos work?

Yes. Potluck supports the HEIC/HEIF photos that iPhones capture by default, so you can upload straight from your camera roll without converting anything first.

  • Can I upload videos?

Not yet — Potluck is photos only for now. Video uploads aren’t supported, so albums stay focused on the pictures everyone took. Video may come later.

  • Does it work across iPhone and Android?

Yes. Potluck runs in the browser and installs to the home screen on both iPhone and Android, and it works on a laptop too — so everyone is on the same album regardless of their phone. No more AirDrop stopping at the first Android, or group chats crushing the quality.

  • Can I manage my album — rename, remove people, or delete it?

Yes. Swipe an album in your list (or tap the ⋯ menu) for quick actions: the owner can rename it, set a cover photo, remove members, or delete the whole album; anyone can leave an album they joined. You can also delete your own photos. Deleting an album removes its photos for everyone.

Start an album. Invite your people.
